I want to talk about gardening with recycled container pots. I think this is an idea that will appeal to environmentalists who are looking for a new, inexpensive way of growing their vegetables.

Gardening in containers has many advantages over traditional garden-in-the-ground method: you can move your plants indoors when the weather gets cold or they need water and care;

It’s easy to start seeds from seedlings inside on sunny days during winter so that when spring comes, they’re ready for planting outside.

Every year we throw out thousands of good quality plastic pots – greenhouses throw out green plastic pots, people clean out their storage areas and get rid of containers or repurpose them for other things or just prefer not to use the old plastic planters.
